The Voice Times is telling writers and people bringing in pictures if they use other newspapers they may be violating copyright infringements. Is there anything those people will not lie about. It has been proven over and over that a writers work remains his or hers, no matter what. People write for dozens of newspapers. What about school news, obits, and press releases, do these dumbasses think all of them are also copyrighted by individual newspapers. Surely they are not that stupid? No, they are just trying to bully and lie to people to keep them from writing for the competition. One guy I know said they tried to get a photo published for a birthday and was told it was $40.00, double that because it looked like their photo had porphed two pictures to one. Also told them it may be a copyright issue. That bunch will do anything to hurt the Advocate or to lie to sell a newspaper.

I received an email from someone that said the same thing and also someone who came in to place a birthday and said they were told the same thing. I have no beef with the other paper and will not mislead anyone. Mr. C, Im not sure whats going on but the customer and the columnist in the email told me the same thing the above poster said. I will go along way with posting back and forth with you, but know this, i do not lie. Calling me a liar, coming from you, is a slap in the face. You are the one man who has stood up for the lowlifes of this county and one by one they all are ending up in trouble. Both papers do a good job. I was saying the Voice Times is full of lies. I know what they told my friend about his photo. Tried to charge him double because two pics were morphed. Easy, You know i have used your paper and i also used theirs but like i said your paper did jest as good of job,and cost was the same,i have no bones about it i have always said they(Mr Fugate)have as good sports paper as they are anywhere now this will be your first season of sports maybe i can say "Nope Breathitt Advocate is the best" i hope i can,Thanks We need both papers thats why they make 31 differant flavors of Ice cream cause if it was left to me they would only make Srawberry,hahahaha Keep up good work and i will keep buying both papers and keep ketching them there dogs.... Ok men.....I don't claim to be judge nor jury but I think we'd all agree that's read this post that someone was definitely WRONGED and for that...I DO NOT BLAME you Judge for never wanting to deal with them again...matter of fact I'd have given them a damn good "PIECE OF MY MIND"LOL Now...as for you MR C....I see that you now agree with Judge that he was WRONGED....and for that I am proud of you for owning up and posting it to Judge... In closing.....we all need some type of clearance as to how or why someone has wronged us...but let me give you both my "little bitty piece of mind".....It's over..the fighting on this post...please give each other the benefit of the doubt and remain civil with one another...there will ALWAYS be people/businesses that will try and/or do us wrong.
