I saw on another board that the Advocate out sold the Times Voice by 303 newspapers based on average weekly sales in the county. A big accomplishment. I read both newspapers and wish to congratulate the Advocate on their acheivement.

Not bad considering the Voice fudges their numbers. Any store you go into, the Advocate is outselling the Voice. So does this mean the Advocate may now officially go after the legals in Breathitt County? I for one am from Breathitt, live here, work here, and pay taxes here.I support our locally owned businesses. You sir, are not from here, live in another county and pay taxes to another county. Thanks for posting Greg. You pay taxes here. Good for you. You support Breathitt County. Great. Your love for me and Bobby is a bit strange, but thanks. The only people who need to worry about Bob's numbers are Bobby, Both School Boards, City of Jackson and Fiscal Court, because those are where the legals come from and they have found a new home. I will cut up and give people a hard time, but I do not let it go to the extremes of attacking people because they do not think like I do. As for tradition, the Times has served this county for over 100 years, but unfortunately that no longer applies anymore since they Bought out the Voice and merged, that tradition fell to the wasteside. It ceased being the Jackson Times when they merged. Obviously people agree since they now buy the Advocate more than they do the Voice Times, so I guess the people of this county do care and do support their only locally owned newspaper.
