Kia ora. I too am a decendant of the Kaikohe Tomuris', Pous', Cochranes' and Te Awas'.
My mother was Moengaroa Norma Tomuri, daughter of Aperahama Tomuri. Our marae is Te Kotahitanga. I remember Auntie Winnie (Pou), Uncle Haki, Auntie Biddy (Maioha), Pawai, Peti and Peter (Pou), Uncle Eru (Pou). I know there were others but the names aren't coming to me. Mum passed away last year. Grandad Tomuri died in 1944. I grew up in Porirua and recently moved to North Canterbury.
