Hi, Have been looking at my notes and Martin's mother went to live with them after the death of her second husband. After her death in 1881 at Rangiaohia Martin and Rewa sold the farm and moved out of the area ?where. Martin may have been married before whilst living in Howick, query a son James whose parents were Martin and Bridget Casey but that is a big if at the moment. Martin's mother, an Irish Catholic was involved in the big Catholic Mission at Rangiaohia but now there is only a sign in a sheep paddock with the mission name, no headstones at all even though Mary Murphy (2nd marriage name) was buried there. I have copies of the army records for Martin's father John Casey, could send you copies if you wish. Kind regards Allison
