From the information I have, Mere/Mary was d/o Maria/Rangiherea and her second husband, James Roach. (The heading of my enquiry is incorrect.) She was born c1856 and died 1914. There is no mention of the name Tiratapu in the doc I have.
I understand that there sre still many Roach and Clark descendants in Otaki.
