can anyone help me with the Werehi whakapapa my fathers name is George Tuatini Welsh his fathers name is Eruera Maihi Patuone Welsh and thats as far back as i know and would like to know more.i really would like to know where the Welsh name originates,i have been told its of scottish origin,not sure.I know my grandfather is named after the northland paramount chief Patuone,and that my grandfather is buried at Oturei in the church cemetery alongside his wife, my grandmother Te Rerenga O Te Ra Paputene(Babbington)of Tokomaru Bay.
