My Nana was Hoana's sister so I have some of the whakapapa, did they live in Hicks Bay. My Nana parents were Peti Pape and Karangawaio Pera Ngatoro. So what relation are you,there are their children that would know more. And if we are the same whanau the Paringtai in Te Araroa would know more because their sister married into the whanau and all the sisters looked alike. I am still researching but many of our whanau married family to keep the mana within the whanau.
