Hi Cheryl We share common ancestors I too am looking for more information on Johnson McKay who was John Horton's McKays father. I do know that this family came out from Scotland and landed at Port Waikato. I know there is the Waipu Museum which holds lots of information on Scots coming from Nova Scotia. Could be a starting point.Lets know how u get on.
