Hi Adele, have just found that Heinrich HEINTZ arrived on "Mariner", April 1859 to Nelson. I think Magdalena was on the same ship! Her uncle's Johann Friedrich Boeckmann's future wife (Kruger) was also on that ship. As Magdalena was only 13 she was possibly under their protection. Regards Rosemary.
