Hi!
I don't know much about my grandmother, trying to piece it all together. My dad died when i was 23 and never talked much about his family. we never met them. She was Grace Tate, her mother married a Tate a couple of months before she was born. He was a English man and I believe she was raised by a Maori family.They lived at Taranaki before coming to Oz.Don't know much more than that, just have a couple of photos one being of a Marae with a lot of Maori folk standing at the front of it.
