Tena korua. I am a descendant of Mere's son Nani Te Kerehi Apatari. Wish to confer over our common tipuna.
Nani and his wife Ihipera both passed away young, as did most of their children. Three survived into adulthood, their son dying overseas, a daughter dying after having one child - and my great grandmother, who had eleven.
Mere Te Huia = Henare Te Apatari
Nani Te Kerehi Apatari = Ihipera Te Hauauru Waaka
Ngaroimata Henare Apatari = William Kaapo Porou (Bartlett)
