Kiaora. Let's exchange email addresses - I've been trying to contact you throught the above email link but it may be getting stopped along the line somehow.
And gosh, with what you say about the photos... I wonder who does hold the original album? I need to view it to try confirm that my great-grandmother was whangai to Rangitane, through her uncle Hnarea Hohatana Apatari = Te Rewanui Tamanako Te Aweawe.
It contains pics of Te Peeti, Ereni, Henare the third (I have since acquired another pic of him and his cousins holding fiddles around a piano). Clara Richards features, as does her son and nephew. There is another pic I remember of females, who are all said to have died of TB.
I have some theories on the whereabouts of this album- let's talk
