Black Rain shot back up into a standing position, translucent tail whipping in a lack of air and paws dancing with excitement. He licks his onyx lips and gives a slight whine, ears flicking comically. It was too much to put into words, but after five months of not being able to communicate with anything, he had been beyond desperate for some kind of contact. The black brute shook his head noiselessly, coming to his senses so that he might reply to his friend.
The wolf looked down at his cirtain lack of substance with a queer look on his face. "Yeah, I do look like hell..." Looking back up to Seg, Black Rain adapts a smile. "As for where I've been, I have no idea.. But it really could have done with some decoration..." The wolf laughed knowing only people who had passed on would understand what it was like to be stuck in a completely white void. "And, um, I've been... lonely."
The brute sat again, barely feeling a contact with the ground. It was strange, he knew more was there, it just didn't seem to affect him. "Seg, trust me, I didn't leave by my own choice. I was... I was looking for an old friend that's in trouble. Sol was with me. She told me I should go back home several times, but, you know... I couldn't let Kirara plunge any further into her personal hell than she already had." There was a sigh, then, "But, of course, I pushed myself too hard... I guess I got out of shape the past couple years, but still.. I got sick. And well... You know the rest..."
Black Rain hung his head, a moment of silence spreading between the two wolves. At long last, he spoke again, still looking into the ground. "How are you? My children? Daughter^of^Darkness? The pack?... I really miss my family."
