Black Rain let out a comical laugh, translucent paws shifting a little as it shook his weightless body. "Ha ha, yeah," he managed at the end, catching his breath even though he didn't need to. Some habits die hard and mortals always seem to have the strangest of habits indeed. "I've been stuck in Pergatory since I died... You know, it's not bad.... Not good, but not bad. Too much white though. At first I thought I was in a blizzard." He blinked a couple times, remenescing on his odd stay in the place after death.
With a shake of his head, Black Rain snapped out of his memories. "I'd love to come back, Seg, but I have no way to. You know I'd love to see my children, but I'm not sure how they'd react to seeing a spirit instead of their flesh and bone father. I wish I'd listened to Sol and just gone home... Then I'd never have this problem in the first place."
It was misery that played on the spirit's face now, blatant misery. He hated the current circumstances, knowing he'd probably never be himself again...
