Cryota nodded, "Yes, she was a Grythdragon. She was quite powerful, or at least against us, seeing as..." And she trailed off. Kinu finished her sentence, "I'm a runt and Cryota's blind. Even now, she can't see you, but her hearing is excellent and she can smell prey from miles away."
Kinu listened carefully to hear how he had become a spirit as well. Broke his neck. That was painful, and she felt glad that someone would remember him. "You seem like a nice guy. I do believe someone shall miss you. Oh, and about the war. We actually were just pups when it was in the heat of battle. In fact, Rosie's ex-mate fought in the war. Rosie is one of our father's closest friends. She is basically our aunt." she explained. She could barely remember her father talking to Rosie, comforting her as Cloud fought, and helping their mother with the pups at that time as well. It was a pure miracle they had made it, but now it didn't matter.
"Lestat was the one trying to take it over, right? That's what I heard father say," Cryota said. Lestat. That name did not conjure a fire within her, but more a memory flashing when she did indeed hear the voice of that very wolf. It was calming, but deadly.
