He glared at her flatly. And then he went into a now-frequent coughing spasm. His years were catching up with him, and he hated it. When it passed, Kakumei spoke, albeit weakly: "What is life when death ends it? And why bother roaming the earth after one dies?" His tone was low and upset, and his hatred for spirits was no longer hidden. "You had your chance. Don't plague us with your presence, witch! And if you find my daughter..." He began to cough again before he could finish his sentence.
