The phoenix tended to take things out of the context they were meant to be, or at least he did when it was in reference to him and his kind. It was a terrible habit, especially since most of the creatures he came across only were respectful to him because of what he was. It was for that reason he took things the way he did. Tanato treated all creatures the same if he could help it.

Still, the spirit did not acknowledge him. This made the firey bird less inclined to be of any potential assistance. His listened to Harmony speak, tilting his head slightly as she mentioned defects. What might have been a smile appeared on Tanato's beak, "Defects, you say? Which? I feel a bit more inclined to be of assistance to you. After all, any creature that might be unable to do somethings can stand up to this monster might be worth saving."
