Tanato was perched on on a dead tree some ways off. He was bored as of late. No beggars trying to bother him; no power hungry beasts trying to gain his favor. He titled his feathered head at the sound of a voice. How do you pray? The phoenix stifled a laugh as he flexed his wings. The fiery red mythic hopped down from his perch to a lower branch so that he was a bit closer to Ruwile and Villo. Tanato clicked his black beak as his black eyes looked over the pair. The flesh at the corners of his mouth curved into a sly smile as he provided an answer, "You just pray. Whether as a wish, a request, or simply a voice to speak to the powers of this land. Most times, they do not answer, but send someone to fulfill your prayer, whether you realize it or not." The phoenix ruffled his red feathers, causing more embers to fall from his tail feathers.
