hey zeno, I was talking to a guy named Dan Hamilton
and he said: He was hiking around Carson Creek with
a gold detector, about a mile down from Carson Hill
Ca. (Calaveras County). It was in the middle of the
day and he was looking for gold, when he heard something strange...It sounded like hissing and something being swirled around real fast, mixed with
a rattling sound. this happened sometime in Feburary
