If an NFL game is postponed/cancelled or a forfeit is issued and the announcement does not come until after NOON central time on the Saturday of the weekend, it will be handled like this for any of our teams with rosters affected:
a) Covid alert rule #1 is in play and you are allowed a temporary roster size of 16. You need to go back to size 15 once it's clear none of your players are no longer doubtful due to Covid related delays.
b) if it's before noon on Sunday, you can sub a different player in as usual
c) Teams can designate a "backup" at any position if there's concern of a player's team missing due to Covid issues.
d) if a team does NOT designate a "backup" and a player does not play due to his NFL team's game not being played in the current week, the fantasy points a position player will get is 50 points, a kicker will get credit for two extra points and a defense will get credit for two sacks. These default points only will score if the NFL decision to not play their game is announced AFTER noon on the Saturday of that weekend.
