Sorry but I found it disjointed and disappointing. The set, lighting, special effects and costumes were fantastic but the show lacked basic substance. None of the characters built a true panto rapport with the audience. Even the basic thread of a Goldilocks storyline was ignored. My 5 year old kept asking when it was ending and if we hadnt spent a fortune on tickets, I would have been happy to leave early. Since when has a panto had jokes about bondage in Hampstead Heath?
Panto has always prided itself for being family entertainment for ALL ages - so what went wrong QDOS?
