It’s been confirmed by The producers from Glasgow’s Tron Theatre that the 2020/21 panto The wizard of oz written and starring Johnny McKnight has been postponed into 2021/22 season. Due to covid, The tron is an in-house panto production that relies on ticket sales and needs capacity audiences to pay for the production. The producers feel that wouldn’t be possible this year. The venue does plan to reopen in the autumn of this year with a programme.
