Goodness sake here we go again. Closures in August doesnt mean December. Whilst I would say its probably 50/50 whether panto happens, theres nothing yet to say it wont. On a daily basis I can read two opposing stories about the same subject t in the same newspaper below eachother, the amount of speculation is ridiculous. Theatres and producers will be planning for all sorts of scenarios. Until anything is official it's all guess work.

If things go well with the virus panto maybe the first shows that get to perform. Things like casting etc will still be going on and could be done very quickly anyway, a lot of actors will have had projects cancelled or delayed so can work short notice. Plus the nature of panto means it can be a bit rough around the edges and people wont care
