I'm now back from my annual visit to Butlin's Skegness, and what a sensational pantomime they have this year. A wonderful scrit with plenty to entertain both children and adults alike, and some stunning costumes too.
Kudos to the performer playing the fairy who had an incredible voice and to the villain who had the perfect blend of malice and sass.
And of course the Dame played by the young Sam Anderson, who stole the show once again. So sharp and so warm.
And a huge shout out to the hard working ensemble who blew me away with their energy, especially in 20 degree heat! Congratulations all!
