Sorry I missed your post before and welcome to the board. Basicly Simon had been out of the pictre for a long time, it wasn't until House of M and Civil War that he started to figure out in the Marvel Universe more prominently.
When the Scarlet Witch went rogue he was among the ones oposing killing her. On the world she recreated he had a relationship with Ms. Marvel and there were rumors the Scarlet witch twins were his too. (see House of M mini series-don't look for too much Wonder Man there, he was probably in the first two issues and that's it)Once that world ceased to exist and the Civil War crossover started he shows up on Civil War Frontline where it is hinted that corrupt Shield is framing him of embezzling from his Second Chances foundation--now I hing it was probably a skrull but that never got revisited on panel. It was shown after Civil War that he was one of the main figures that gets tapped by Tony Stark to form his post Civil War Avengers along with Ms. Marvel. Besides Mighty Avengers he also becomes part of Ms. Marvel supporting cast where they develop a relationship and the last time he showed up they end up having sex. That was the beginning of Secret Invasion. Now if you have been followng that crossover you may know that we don't know yet if he will become part of any of the Avengers groups that are to be coming after the Secret Invasion.
