And I agree that Heiberg characterization of Wondy was great in the Crusade's last issue.

: Obviously - Spoilers below.
:
: Serious spoilers.
:
: Okay now that is out of the way. I am
: SERIOUSLY worried about what I read here in
: issue 7 of the Avengers book.
:
: First off - 'trouble keeping himself
: together'? Oh poop. Tony mentions this
: almost immediately after finding WM. Also
: what we find out here is that the Wonder Man
: who attacked the Avengers back in issue one,
: the version we all thought was a version of
: Simon from a different universe, is in fact
: the regular Simon from the standard Marvel
: Universe. That's not good. So, that's the
: costume they decided to go with? Weak.
: Weak. and Weak.
:
: Moving on - so this is really the stance
: that Simon is going to take - Disband the
: Avengers because they hurt more than they
: help? Seriously? I'll tell you, I LOVE
: Bendis' writing, love it. He has
: revitalized the entire Avengers lore, making
: it as popular or even more popular than the
: Justice League. With that being said, it is
: official, he has NO idea what to do with
: Simon. None whatsoever. That's very
: disappointing to me. It's so tough for me
: to see the way Heinberg is writing him over
: in the Childrens' Crusade - perfectly and
: then see the way Bendis is destroying him.
:
: Honestly, I would rather not see him in
: print than to see him this way.
:
: What is Simon going to be the new Henry
: Gyrich? God, I hope not.
:
: Is Simon going to officially make the turn
: to villain? Please no.
:
: I think that Simon is going to be the back
: plot for quite a while in this run of the
: Avengers.
:
: Take a read of the issue boys. Let me know
: what you think.
