This free veterinary service is provided by the Alaska Rural Native Veterinary Services based in Fairbanks. This will be the third time Angie Fitch, Executive Director, has brought free this service to McGrath.
Donations and food donations are very welcome! Food can be brought to the School Shop anytime Sunday and before noon on Monday (March 31st & April 1st).
AAT is providing flights at no cost to all 3 villages! AAT also flys dogs out after rehoming is arranged.
Many thanks to the McGrath School for providing the place and City of McGrath for coordinating to help make this happen!
Sixteen (16) dogs will be spayed or neutered -- that potentially prevents 80 unwanted puppies every year!
