I learned a lot from them today:
1) It is recommended to replace old detectors/alarms every 5 years!!
2) My existing detectors we're not installed in the proper locations!!
3) Even hard-wired systems should have the detector/alarm replaced every 10 years.
If yours are from 2020, this is an opportunity to improved the safety of your home at no cost to you.
