Most of the the night and weekend programming we carry is pre recorded, delivered in segments to the station on our satellite receiver which pushes it to our automation computer.
Sometimes, for whatever reason, that path between the satellite and computer gets gummed up. I don't think it has to do with a power surge or power outage.. I think it's some internal IT/Computer stuff I don't quite understand.
When that path gets gummed up, nothing transfers...namely new show segments. I regularly check that "path".. I did a few times last week but based upon what I saw, the path got gummed up sometime Friday afternoon/evening.
If you hear an old program, you're welcome to send me a quick message. If you have my cell number, text me. Email the station, gm.ksko@gmail.com, message us on Facebook, say something to me in person.. I welcome a "Hey, you got a problem, the same Wait Wait Dont Tell Me from last week is playing again" type of message.
I try my best to keep things humming along, but sometimes things.. they just happen!
