Notice to McGrath Residents

Everts Air will discontinue its weekly large aircraft service from Anchorage to McGrath effective June 26, 2025, due to lower volumes of freight and mail, and changes in the U.S. Postal Service’s routing for Galena.

What This Means:

Mail and freight will continue via smaller bush aircraft.

Transporting oversized or heavy freight may be more difficult.

Community charter flights are available as an alternative.

How Community Charters Work:

Freight is dropped off at Everts Air and tagged for the charter.

Once all freight is received, the flight is dispatched.

Pricing is per-pound, similar to scheduled service.
