In District 3 and the Innoko River, including Holy Cross and Shagelu and Sub District 4 lower, from ¾ of a mile downstream from Old Paradise Village upstream to Stink Creek, including the communities of Grayling and Anvik:
Chinook and chum salmon fishing is closed. Subsistence fishing for nonsalmon, pink, and sockeye salmon is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week with 4-inch or smaller mesh set gillnets, 60-feet or less in length, and operated as a set net near shore, dip nets, beach seines, and hook and line gear. Chinook and chum salmon must be released alive immediately
Now, for JUST District 3 and the Innoko River the following will apply
Effective 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, subsistence fishing for fall chum and coho salmon will close. Chinook, chum, and coho salmon must be released alive immediately from selective gear types.
Effective 12:00 p.m. noon on Sunday, July 20, 4-inch or smaller mesh gillnets must be removed from the water. Fishing with 4-inch or smaller mesh gillnets and manned fish wheels for nonsalmon will reopen from 12:00 p.m. noon Thursday, July 24 to 12:00 p.m. noon Sunday July 27, and will reopen on a weekly schedule from 12:00 p.m. noon Thursdays through 12:00 p.m. noon Sundays, until further notice.
