AAT is hauling ALL Mail from Anchorage to
McGrath. THIS INCLUDES BY PASS and STANDARD MAIL as well as PRIORITY.
FYI I Ordered hardware from General hardware distributors on Monday afternoon by phone. It arrived in McGrath today (Wednesday). Our Amazon mail is getting here faster.
Instead of once a week, if we were lucky, we received standard mail and bypass mail via Everett. AAT now transports that mail.
This means you get first class and standard mail every day of the week as well as standard freight and priority freight
Reeve Air carries UPS on a daily basis.
As far as UPS and USPS service ……. It’s the best it’s ever been since PenAir operated and served us..
Also…… we now get our Friday Mail on Friday at the post office and not on Monday afternoon as it was with Everts deliveries scheduled for Thursdays but getting here on Fridays or “whenever” …….too late to be sorted that day.
The post office in McGrath sees a huge improvement in overall mail service deliveries from Anchorage. I agree with them!
