Due to the Presidential Visit in Anchorage on Friday, 8/15/25, the Anchorage airspace has Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) in place for most of the day. These TFRs limit our ability to operate within a certain radius of the Presidential Visit.

Below is our current schedule to accommodate the restrictions on our airspace during that time. However, because the Presidential visit is very changeable, they have asked all operators to monitor the Temporary Flight Restrictions for last minute changes. We will do our best to keep our passengers and the McGrath Air Terminal informed if there are any last minute changes, and always feel free to contact us if you have questions.

AAT Flight #1
Check in at AAT’s office 7:15AM
Departure from Merrill Field 8:15AM
Arrival to McGrath 9:30AM
*Aircraft and Pilot wait in McGrath for the morning until our plane can land at Birchwood Airport*
Departure from McGrath 2:45PM
Arrival to Birchwood Airport 3:45PM
*AAT Shuttle Van to drive passengers from Birchwood airport to AAT Office, expect a 20 minute shuttle ride.*


AAT Flight #2
Check in at AAT’s Office 2:30PM
*Extended check in time to allow time for load planning and loading customer freight into AAT Shuttle Van*
*AAT Shuttle Van to drive passengers from AAT’s office to AAT’s aircraft staged at Birchwood Airport, expect a 20 minute shuttle ride.*
Departure from Birchwood Airport 4:30PM
Arrival to McGrath 5:30PM
Arrival to Takotna Flag-Stop 6:00PM
Arrival to Merrill Field Airport 7:00PM

Current Airspace closure extends from 9:30AM to 6:45PM, so we are expecting for our second flight to land back at our Merrill Field, Anchorage base at 7PM.
