Good Monday Morning.....I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Let’s take a look at what's going on for August 18th.

Mostly cloudy, some evening and overnight rain showers tonight, highs in the 60s, lows in the upper 40s. Cloudy to start tomorrow, becoming partly sunny later in the day, near the lower 60s tomorrow. The rest of the week looks pretty dry precipitation wise with highs in the lower to mid 60s, lows near 50.

Lunch for today at the McGrath school is pizza, fruit and veggie. Tomorrows lunch is spaghetti, french fries and veggie. Breakfast is served every morning at 830am, lunch at 1155

The City of McGrath is working with Rural Alaska Community Action Program and The Office of Indian Energy to provide grants to individual home owners of McGrath with the Healthy Homes Weatherization Program. This grant may cover insulating your house, new windows or doors, as well as upgrades such as furnace or hot water heater replacement, air sealing, ventilation systems and moisture control.
In order to apply for this grant, you will need to complete the application and show proof of ownership, show most recent filed income tax returns with W-2’s for household members, 2 months of bank statements, Photo ID, and recent pay stubs.
