If anyones heard some screaming in McGrath lately, its been me out of frustration because I seem to have a love hate relationship with technology. I hate when a technology failure impairs what we do at KSKO but I've pledged to be honest from Day 1 and tell you what's going on.

We've had a piece of equipment fail that carries our internet from Location A where it originates to our studio in McGrath. That means... no Starlink and no reliable internet here. We have a back up, Viasat but due to the rain and or some trees that signal is unreliable... we can still access weather and other information, BUT....

.. that means no Ann Fears on KRFF Till this gets fixed and it'll be a few days. If we tried to put Ann FEars on now, it would drop out all the time.

We are still able to feed our webstream and village repeater feed because the audio for that is fed by a regular FM Radio connected to the internet at another location in McGrath.

I know how many enjoy Ann and this frustrates me more than you know that I can't snap my fingers or plug in a few wires and fix it.
