We remember Kaleb Lee Thompson, born January 4, 2008, in Anchorage. Kaleb was a gentle and calm young man, with a spark of mischief and a deep capacity for love, kindness, and quiet determination. He enjoyed classic rock and roll, relaxing in a hot bath or Jacuzzi, warm sunny days, and spending time with his family — especially his brothers, Jonathan, Michael, and Christopher.
Kaleb was set to be honored as an honorary graduate of Wasilla High School’s Class of 2026.
Services will be held in the Mat-Su Valley on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, at Legacy Funeral Home. A viewing begins at 11:30 AM, with the service at 12:00 PM.
In McGrath, services will be Thursday, January 22nd, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with burial to follow and a potluck at the McGrath Native Tribal Council at approximately 3:00 PM.
Kaleb will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
