I am am so sad you are leaving, but at the same time, happy you have a new career adventure ahead! I want to recognize and thank you for supporting literacy and making reading so much fun! You promoted McGrath's summer reading programs over many years and that made all the difference in participation. It was your idea to give kids the experience of being on the radio and the Arctic Knights Radio Readers is now an annual tradition. You hosted so many children throughout the year reading their original poems, 4th of July history, favorite books and Christmas stories. This is just one small aspect of your impact here in McGrath. I, personally, have especially appreciated your dedication to public safety with trusted weather, flood and wildfire updates; Back to Bluegrass broadcasting and all the fun music themes you put together, games (duck hunt, name that tune), shout-outs and yes, even your jokes!
