The Iditarod race ceremonial start is Saturday, March 7 in Anchorage and the restart in Willow will be March 8. We expect to see race teams arriving in McGrath by Tuesday, March 10th. It would be great to get the check point ready next weekend starting Friday, March 6. If you're interested in helping get the city building ready to be the check point this year, please show up to the city building on Friday afternoon.
