Here’s my shipping info from last fall. Quotes were based on vehicle weight and length. I get this question a lot, so I’m happy to share what my shipping looked like and some of the inquiries I made.

I used Lynden Barge Line from Anchorage to Bethel. Drop-off in Anchorage. The cost was $4,800. Quote and booked online.

From Bethel to McGrath, I used Crowley, cost $2,900. I worked with Todd Tikiun (Todd.Tikiun@crowley.com). They arranged the transfer from Lynden. You may be able to ship all the way with Crowley.

Bowhead quoted double Crowley's rate, $6,000 for Bethel to McGrath.

Alaska Logistics — I believe drop-off is out of Seward, but I was also too late in the season to work with them.

Vitus indicated they did not have the capability to load/unload vehicles.
