I know people that changed as early as last week, and my self just a couple weeks ago.
I understand airlines believe me, but I have never heard about it nor have been charged. This is the only reason that I’m posting here, because I don’t think I am the only one that isn’t aware of it. So people aren’t caught off guard like I was😉
