In late May through June USFWS will be conducting their annual aerial counts of migratory birds throughout Alaska including our interior region.

Airplane Description: single Cessna
206 on amphibious floats with one of the
following tail numbers: N721NR, N375F,
or N9623R.

Purpose of the Survey

This survey is part of a yearly effort to
estimate breeding populations of waterfowl
across North America. Data from these
surveys will be used in management
decisions.
