Dear Stosh, Ana, Gage and Avery,

It was with deep sadness when I learned of your father and grandfather’s passing. Stanley and I spent lots of time together over many years on a professional level as well as having a close and trusting personal relationship. I admired him for many reasons, among them his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends and his strong sense of right and wrong. Some people considered Stanley to be stubborn, but he wasn’t at all if what you said made sense and you could show him a better way. He just wouldn’t compromise his principles or take the path of least resistance. Above all else, Stanley had a reputation for “unquestionable integrity”. He earned my respect and the respect of many others for being authentic and standing tall for his family and his rich culture.

I will miss the occasional calls from my dear friend and the friendly back-and-forth banter we shared, but I feel happy knowing that we will be reunited on our journey hereafter. RIP forevermore, my friend Stanley.
