Re: New Telarc vinyl LPs
I ask because a lot of people today are enjoying buying vinyl reissues of their favorite old records because they think it sounds better, whereas in many cases, probably the vast majority, the vinyl is mastered from a digital transfer which was made for a CD reissue, sounding not much different from the CD at three times the price. I'm sure the Telarc LPs sound good, but if the masters are not analogue, I wonder what the purpose is of mastering new LPs.
