Frank Brockett was well known for his piccolo solos, many of which were published. He was a London freelance player as far as I am aware. I don’t think he was attached to any of the orchestras on a permanent basis. I don’t know why the dates (which are new to me by the way) are questioned as he was active as a player from about 1920 to 1940 at least. The attached photo (I can send this separately to David if wished) appeared in “Photographs of Well Known Flute Players”, published by Rudall Carte & Co., London, 1926 and 1938.
