Thank you, Lee; I'm not sure whether it would fall into the neglected category but I don't think we hear Beethoven's greatest Lied often enough: "Adelaide" is a through-composed ballad worthy to stand alongside Schubert's most bitter-sweet compositions, especially if it is sung by either Fritz Wunderlich here:
