"The paperback catalogue is a fully-updated one" so does cover all the works since the Faber and can be taken to reflect the latest research.
It also does not include a discog and the reason for that is that the Arnold Society produce a free standing discog and no wish to conflict.
New one is quite a small format book - the font is smaller and the pages are denser with print - overall result slightly smaller but still legible print and fewer pages
Very usable and feels compact tho with lots of info
I read with interest Rob Barnett's review of the recently published Malcolm Arnold: Catalogue of Works by Alan J Poulton. I am curious to know how this volume compares to the 1986 edition of this book. I can assume an update of the works list. But is it still in the same format? The new book (157 pages appears to be about 70 pages shorter that the early edition (224 pages). I wonder what has been omitted?
