John France mentions "such masterpieces as Maxwell Davies’ Seven Songs for a Mad King and Harrison Birtwistle’s I Met Heine on the Rue Fürstenberg" in MW today - http://www.musicweb-international.com/classrev/2021/May/MaxwellDavies-realisations-UKCD2044.htm
But that work is by a very different composer: Morton Feldman. There is a very nice film by Andreas Rochholl featuring this work on YouTube.
