Thanks Ralph, I am a huge fan of Ms Plowright. I know her voice isn't for everyone, but her stage presence was amazing, even when she went to doing mezzo roles. Remember her Fricka at Covent Garden and the Proms some years back. I think this Trovatore is one of her best recordings, although I am a bit biased as it was my first CD purchase. A shame her Traviata also with Giulini was never released.
