A gentle correction to Stephen Francis Vasta's review of Chailly's Brahms serenades: Boult's recordings of the serenades could have easily been fitted onto one CD if EMI had so chosen. He takes about 38 minutes for the first one and 26 for the second. The only pairing I know that goes over 80 minutes is Abbado on DG.
