This was one of a whole series of rare operas issued on LP with scrupulously prepared bilingual libretti reproduced from camera-ready typescripts: Cimarosa's Gli Orazi ed i Curiazi, Spontini's La Vestale, etc., etc., and especially a sumptuous edition of Boito's Nerone with the detailed scholarly annotation that its brilliant script invites, and including even the musicless final act. I wonder if there is a full list of the series anywhere, and how many of the others may be sitting quietly among the countless documents on the Internet Archive!
